Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 August 2026. These terms apply whenever you browse KennelSites.com or apply for, purchase, or use a KennelSites kennel website. By submitting the Apply form or paying an invoice, you agree to the terms below.
Who you're dealing with
KennelSites is operated by Curtis Thomas, trading via UKKO Light Entrepreneur (Business ID 3642844-7), Finland. Any agreement you enter into is with Curtis Thomas personally, trading under this business identity, not a limited company.
What the service includes
KennelSites builds and hosts a custom kennel website for professional and show dog breeders. The standard package (described on the Pricing page) includes white-glove migration of your existing dogs, litters, photos, and pedigree history; a custom domain and SSL certificate; hosting; and a self-serve admin panel. The exact feature set and price in effect at the time you apply is the one that governs your order, even if this page is later updated.
Getting started and payment
Applying through the Apply form is not a binding order, it starts a conversation. A binding agreement begins once we've confirmed scope together and you pay the setup fee. The setup fee is due before migration work begins; the monthly fee is billed in advance and covers hosting, SSL, and continued access to your admin panel. Late or failed monthly payments may result in your site being taken offline until payment is resolved, after reasonable notice by email.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of the content you provide or approve for your site, including pedigree records, health results, and titles. You confirm you have the right to use any photos, documents, or third-party links (such as Koiranet entries) you ask us to include. Content you publish through your admin panel after launch is your responsibility, not ours.
Ownership and what happens if you leave
You own your domain, your content, and your data at all times. If you cancel or we ever cease operating, you're entitled to a full export of your records. Full detail on data handling and export requests is in the Privacy Notice. The KennelSites platform, codebase, and admin panel software remain the property of Curtis Thomas.
Cancelling
You can cancel your monthly subscription anytime by emailing sales@kennelsites.com. The setup fee is non-refundable once migration work has started, since it covers real hours spent importing your data. Your site stays live through the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then comes offline.
Service availability
We aim for reliable uptime on European hosting infrastructure, but we don't guarantee the site will be available every minute of every day. We're not liable for outages caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including hosting provider incidents, domain registrar issues, or internet infrastructure failures.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Finnish law, KennelSites' total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you've paid in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost puppy sales or lost business opportunities, arising from use of the site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change materially affects an active client, we'll notify you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use your site after that point means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any dispute that can't be resolved directly will be handled by the courts of Finland.
