Who operates this site
KennelSites is operated by Curtis Thomas, trading via UKKO Light Entrepreneur (Business ID 3642844-7), Finland. For any privacy question, Curtis is the person you're dealing with.
What we collect
Only what you submit through the Apply form: your kennel name and breed, your name, your email address, your current web presence, your primary goal for the site, your domain status, and any notes you add. We don't use analytics or tracking cookies on this site.
Why we're allowed to process it
We process your Apply form details to take steps you've requested before entering a contract with us (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), namely reviewing your application and replying about a kennel website. Where that doesn't apply, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries sent to us directly (Article 6(1)(f)).
How it's used
Your application is sent via Resend to sales@kennelsites.com so we can follow up with you, and you'll receive a confirmation email from notifications@kennelsites.com. We don't sell your details to anyone.
Who we share it with
We use Resend (resend.com) as our email delivery processor to send and receive Apply form messages. Resend processes data on our behalf under its own data processing agreement and may process it on infrastructure located outside the EU/EEA, with appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) in place. We don't share your details with any other third party.
How long we keep it
If your application doesn't turn into a client relationship, we keep it for up to 18 months so we can follow up, then delete it. If you become a client, we keep your application details for as long as your site is active, plus any period required afterward by Finnish accounting and tax law.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask us to: give you access to the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or provide it to you in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Email sales@kennelsites.com for any of these requests, and we'll respond within a month. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Finnish Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi), or your own country's data protection authority.
